To enhance performance and competitiveness of students and clients through the creation of knowledge, competencies and solutions in Marketing and International Business

• Uganda National Marketing Forum
The Marketers Forum was officially launched under the theme: Marketing leadership: Building business, creating value, shaping society on June 01, 2007 at Sheraton Kampala Hotel
• Workshops on Trading with China
The first workshop is being organized for business people trading with China in August/September 2007. The training is aimed at equipping traders with knowledge about China, the Chinese language, and business opportunities in China
• Masters of New Markets and Europe
The Department is coordinating the recruitment of African students for the Masters of New Markets and Europe, which is offered at Universita’ Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (ALTIS) in Milan.
• Market research workshops in collaboration with Status Quo Uganda
• Research Activity
Under the Faculty research theme: Enterprise Competitiveness, Enhancement and Export Development, staff in the Department are embarking on research in the following areas:
