Introduction

Admission Requirements

Admission into the first year is through any of the following avenues:

  • Direct Entry: Applicants must have at least two principal passes in UACE or its equivalent, one of which must be in Mathematics or Economics.
  • Diploma Holders Scheme: Holders of at least a Second-Class Diploma from a recognized institution in a relevant field such as Statistics, Business, or Economics.
  • Degree Holders Scheme: Applicants who already possess a degree in a related discipline from a recognized institution.
  • Professional Qualifications: Candidates with relevant professional qualifications equivalent to a Diploma level in statistics, accounting, or related fields.
  • Mature Age Scheme: Candidates who have passed both the written and oral Mature Age Entry Examinations conducted by Makerere University.
