Higher Education Certificate in Business Studies (HECBS)
Introduction
The Higher Education Certificate in Business Studies is a one-year foundational program designed to prepare students for university-level education in business and management. The program equips learners with essential knowledge in entrepreneurship, accounting, economics, business communication, and information technology. It also provides an entry pathway for students who did not qualify directly for degree programs but aspire to pursue business-related studies at MUBS or other recognized institutions.
Admission Requirements

Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with at least five (5) passes.

Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) with at least one (1) principal pass and two (2) subsidiary passes.

Or a valid equivalent qualification as determined by the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE).

Mature age entry for candidates aged 25 years and above, subject to passing the MUBS mature age entry examination.
