Master of Science in Marketing (MSc Marketing)

Admission Requirements
Admission into the programme shall be in accordance with Makerere University Business School regulations for Higher Degrees and shall be through the following avenues:
a) Direct Entry (Bachelor’s Degree):

An Honours Bachelor’s Degree (minimum Second Class Lower Division) or its equivalent from a recognized university in Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, or a related discipline.
b) Postgraduate Diploma Route:

A Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management or Marketing from a recognized institution, obtained with at least a Second Class Lower Division or its equivalent.
c) Pass Degree Holders:

Applicants holding a Pass Degree may be admitted upon providing evidence of academic growth, relevant professional experience, and maturity, as determined by the Board of Graduate Studies and Research.
d) Professional Qualification Route:

Possession of relevant professional qualifications such as:
- CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing)
- CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply)
- CILT (Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport)
- Or other equivalent qualifications, subject to approval.

- Structure: Four (4) semesters
- Semester Length: Seventeen (17) weeks
