Today, I was pleased to receive kind words of appreciation from Dr. Lawrence Muganga, Vice Chancellor of Victoria University, for the progress we are making at Makerere University Business School. This progress reflects the collective dedication of our staff, students, alumni and partners, whose commitment continues to strengthen our contribution to education and Uganda’s human capital development.

Thank you, Dr. Muganga, for presenting me with a copy of your latest book, Wake Up or Be Left Behind. Your efforts to make artificial intelligence accessible and understandable are helping more people appreciate its potential and prepare for the changes it brings.

As educators, we share a responsibility to prepare learners for a changing world. At MUBS, we remain committed to encouraging innovation, critical thinking and the responsible use of emerging technologies to address practical challenges and create opportunities.

I appreciate your thoughtful gesture and your contribution to advancing AI awareness in Uganda. I look forward to reading your book and exploring opportunities for collaboration in this shared area of interest.
