MUBS Participates in 2026 Career Exhibition at Namiryango
On September 25, 2026, Makerere University Business School (MUBS) joined universities and other tertiary institutions at a career exhibition held at Our Lady of Africa Secondary School, Namiryango.
The career exhibition attracted 297 students from Senior Three to Senior Six, who explored academic programmes and potential career paths. Representing MUBS, Ms. Joy Nakibule from the Registrar’s Office introduced students to the university and its academic programmes, encouraging them to set ambitious goals and work hard to achieve them.
Mr. Med Tondo, a Teaching Assistant in the Faculty of Marketing and International Business, highlighted the career opportunities available through the programmes and urged students to take their studies seriously, do their best, and strive for excellence.
“Do not fail yourselves. Everyone has the ability to succeed. Put in extra effort to become the person you want to be,” he advised.
Mr. Nathan Nuwagira, an Assistant Career and Skills Development Officer, explained programme cut-off points and career pathways while emphasizing the importance of discipline, focus and hard work.
Through its participation in the career exhibition, MUBS reaffirmed its commitment to helping young people make informed academic choices and prepare for their future careers. The engagement also provided students with an opportunity to learn more about MUBS academic programmes and the career opportunities associated with them.
