BID NOTICE UNDER OPEN BIDDING

Invitation to Bid for Provision of Cleaning and Garbage Collection Services for Makerere University Business School Main Campus and MUBS Annex, Bugolobi under Framework Contract arrangement for a period of 36 months. MUBS/NCSVCS/26-27/00019

1. The Makerere University Business School has allocated to be used for Provision of Cleaning Services and Garbage Collection for MUBS Main Campus and MUBS Annex, Bugolobi under Framework Contract arrangement for a period of 36 months under 6 lots. Ref no. MUBS/NCSVCS/26-27/00019
2. The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the non-consultancy services under framework contract arrangement.
3. Bidding shall be conducted in accordance with the procedures contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, Cap 205 and the Regulations made under the Act and is open to all bidders or reserved for National Providers
4. The successful provider(s) shall be expected to sign a framework contract with Makerere University Business School for a period of 36 Months.
5. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 9(a) from Monday to Friday (excluding Public Holidays) 8:00am to 5:00pm.
6. The bidding documents may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application with active phone contacts and email address to the address below at 8(b) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000/= (One Hundred Thousand Shillings Only). The method of payment will be payable by bank to URA account, after obtaining a payment reference (PRN) from Bursar’s Office at Block 1, MUBS. Thereafter, bidders will be issued with a bid document upon presentation of evidence of payment (verified by Bursar’s Office) to PDU Room 30, Block 1, MUBS.
7. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 8(c) at or before 11:00am Wednesday, August 5, 2026. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Securing Declaration. Bid Securing Declarations must be valid until December 31, 2026. Electronic bidding will not be Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 8(d) at 11:15am, Wednesday, August 5, 2026
8. There shall be a pre – bid meeting and site visit at Makerere University Business School Main Campus and Bugolobi Annex at 10:30am on the dates indicated in the proposed schedule in this notice.
