MUBS Showcases Academic Excellence at King’s College Budo Annual Careers Exhibition
Makerere University Business School (MUBS) participated in the Annual Careers Exhibition at King’s College Budo on April 29, 2026, as one of the invited external exhibitors. The event provided an important platform for students to explore higher education opportunities and gain insights into various career pathways.
During the exhibition, the Dean of the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research, Prof. Sulait Tumwine, encouraged students to pursue their ambitions with confidence, determination, and passion. He emphasized that success is achieved through commitment, hard work, and a clear vision of one’s future career goals.
Prof. Tumwine advised students to carefully plan their academic journeys by selecting subjects that align with their desired professions. He noted that universities offer programs tailored to different career aspirations and reminded students that competition for academic opportunities continues to increase. He further guided learners on the university admission process, explaining the importance of essential subjects and strong academic performance when applying for various programs.
The MUBS team, comprising both academic and administrative staff, engaged students in interactive sessions highlighting the wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs offered by the institution. They also provided guidance on subject selection, career planning, and the diverse opportunities available across different fields of study.
