Main Campus, Nakawa Principal of Makerere University Business School (MUBS), Prof. Moses Muhwezi, has officially welcomed more than 12,000 freshmen and women to the institution during Day Two of the 2026 Orientation Week.

Addressing the new students, Prof. Muhwezi congratulated them on securing admission to MUBS and encouraged them to embrace the opportunities that the institution offers in academics, innovation, entrepreneurship, leadership, and personal development. He urged the students to remain disciplined, focused, and committed to excellence throughout their academic journey.

Prof. Muhwezi further assured the students of the School’s commitment to providing a conducive learning environment supported by qualified academic staff, modern learning facilities, digital technologies, and student support services designed to enhance their university experience.

The Orientation Week programme continues to introduce new students to the School’s academic regulations, student support services, library resources, ICT services, career guidance, security, health services, and other essential information to facilitate a smooth transition into university life.
