Associate Professor. Noah Mwelu is experienced researcher and industry player with over 10 years of work experience. Currently, Noah is the Director/Chief Makerere University Business School Jinja Campus. Noah also served as the Head of Department Marketing and Management MUBS-JINJA the position he held till appointed as the Director. He has a proven ability in procurement, Logistics and Supply Chain Management. He has potential in conducting research both at industry and academic levels that is able to guide policy maker in the fields of public procurement, Logistics and Supply Chain Management. Noah is an internal examiner for Makerere University, Uganda, the course Coordinator and member of the Faculty Course Review Committee for Makerere University Business School.

Associate Professor Mwelu is a distinguished academic and development practitioner with extensive expertise in public finance management, fiscal decentralisation, governance, and public sector policy analysis. He brings a wealth of experience in applied research and consultancy work supporting government institutions.

Noah holds a PhD (Building ) specializing in public Procurement from University of Newcastle in Australia, MSc. Procurement and Supply Chain Management and BSc. Procurement and Supply Chain Management from Makerere University in Uganda.
Noah possess strong interpersonal skills and has led teams and been part of different teams both for lecturing and research. Noah is motivated by challenges, the satisfaction of delivering timely and quality results and the prospects of solving societal problems. Noah has researched and published papers in peer-reviewed journals and participated in case writing. He is supervisor for PhD and Master Degree Students. Noah was awarded a four-year full PhD Scholarship by Commonwealth Government of Australia.
