Career and Skills Development Section

The Career and Skills Development Centre plays a strategic role in preparing both Makerere University Business School (MUBS) students and high school learners for a successful transition into the world of work. Through structured career guidance and comprehensive skills development programmes, the Centre equips learners with critical employability, entrepreneurial, and leadership competencies.

Aligned with MUBS’s mission of enabling the future of its students, the Centre extends its impact beyond the university by supporting high school students to make informed academic and career decisions at an early stage. By bridging the gap between education and labour market demands, and by integrating academic knowledge with practical skills, the Centre ensures that learners at all levels are well-positioned to thrive, adapt, and contribute meaningfully in an increasingly competitive and dynamic global economy.
