This is to inform all applicants who wish to apply for Diploma and Certificate programmes for the academic year 2023/2024 that the deadline for application has been extended to June 30, 2023.  Applicants who have already applied need not to re-apply.

 MAKERERE UNIVERSITY BUSINESS SCHOOL ON-LINE APPLICATION PORTAL USER GUIDE

Applicants are required to apply online which can be done from any location where there is internet connectivity. Below are steps to follow:

  1. To access the system log on https://apply.mubs.ac.ug or www.mubs.ac.ug and click on Apply Now.
  2. Sign up using your full name, e-mail and mobile number. Please note that your name must be similar to the one on your supporting academic documents for your application to be considered.

Note:  For you to register you must have a valid email address. If you do not have one sign up for one.

  1. A password will be sent to both your e-mail and mobile number.
  2. The system will prompt you to change the password to the one you can easily remember
  3. To fill the form, click on one of the displayed running scheme that suits you.
  4. Click on submit to generate a payment reference number of UGX 30,000/= application fee (non-refundable) plus a bank charge of UGX. 3000/= payable at any bank.
  5. After filling in your Online Application form, attach the following scanned copies.
  6. i)Passport Size photo (100KB).
  7. ii)Birth Certificate (500KB).

iii)   ‘O’ Level Certificate/Pass slip Or Equivalent (500KB).

  1. iv)‘A’ Level Certificate/Pass slip Or Equivalent (500KB).
  2. v)Certified transcript for Degree/Diploma/Certificate holders (If required) (500KB).
  3. vi)Previous school/institution Identification card.
