Officials from Makerere University will be coming to Makerere University Business School to register students admitted on bachelors programmes in academic year 2019/2020 and 2020/2021. The registration exercise will commence on Monday 11th April, 2022 and end on Friday, 29th   April, 2022

You will be required to present the following:

1)            Makerere University registration form (item A).

2)            Your academic documents mentioned in the registration requirements ( item B)

Please note that items above in 2 should be photocopied and attached on to the registration form to be presented to the Makerere University official.

You are therefore requested to turn up for the registration exercise, starting at 9.30 am each day at Main library Short tower ground level.

MUK MANUAL REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS FOR SECOND AND THIRD YEAR STUDENTS

          2019/2020, 2020/2021 ACADEMIC YEARS

For registration purposes, you will be required to present the following:

  1. i) OriginalAdmission Letter
  2. ii) OriginalBirth Certificate

iii) An identity card from the previous O’ Level and “A” Level Schools. Certificate/Diploma/Degree holders must produce identity cards from their previous Colleges/Institution/University. Identity cards from employers and National Identity cards are not accepted for registration purposes.

  1. iv) OriginalO-Level Certificate/Passlip (UCE or Equivalent)
  2. v) Original A-Level Certificate/ Passlip (UACE or Equivalent)
  3. vi) OriginalCertificate/Transcript of Degree/Diploma/Certificate/Mature Age entry Scheme (where applicable).

viii) Evidence of payment of 20,000/= for National Council for Higher Education (NCHE).

  1. ix) Proof of payment receipts/Deposit slip acknowledging payment of Registration fees
  2. x) Two (2) photocopies each of the “O” and ‘A’ Level Results Slips/Certificates, and certified Transcripts/Certificates from the awarding institutions in case of Degree/Diploma/Certificate holders.
  3. xi) Two (2) recent passport size photographs showing the current likeness (head to shoulder).

xii) Two copies of filled in registration forms.

 

Students who do not provide the above evidence will not be registered. Please be informed that non compliance with the registration deadline carries a penalty of shs. 50,000/=
